Cathy McDaniel holds a Broker’s license and has remained active in Georgia real estate since 1993. She received a “Certified Mortgage Specialist” designation through Capstone Institute of Mortgage Finance in 1998, joined The Georgia Training Center as a Continuing Education Instructor in 2006 and currently serves as one of the top Educators at the American Real Estate University. Cathy just received the "2008 Educator Of The Year" presented by the Georgia Real Educators Association in December. She hosts an average of 50 classes a month at various locations throughout Georgia, Tennessee, South Carolina, Florida and is committed to offering a broad selection of topics, certificates and designations that address hot and timely topics.

Over the years, Cathy has been associated with top companies in the industry of homeownership such as ERA, Prudential, Century 21, Countrywide Home Loans, GMAC Mortgage, JPMorgan Chase and numerous other organizations. All material referenced in this book is tailor-made and created from her training and experience as a top producing REALTOR® and Home Loan Consultant.

Her experiences as Endorsed Instructor in 2007 for HUD PEMCO, Ltd., the marketing manager for all HUD homes in Georgia, a regular instructor at Georgia MLS and the Georgia Institute of Real Estate and many Board of Realtor’s Associations have allowed her to meet over 20,000 real estate professionals since 2007.

Over the last 15 years, she has passed on her secrets and insights acting as a consumer advocate for all mortgage and real estate professionals. Cathy organized Atlanta’s first “Real Estate Industry Day” January 6, 2008 which attracted over 800 real estate professionals. During this free event, attendees received presentations from HUD, FHA, Freddie Mac, Atlanta Builders Association, Georgia Association of Mortgage Brokers, JPMorgan Chase, NeighborWorks America, ERA Sunrise Realty and a number of vendors supporting homeownership.

On a personal note, Cathy resides in Lawrenceville, Georgia with her Labrador, Bella. She has two adult children Jodi and Chris and adores her four grandchildren Dustin, Taylor, Chasity and Alexus. Cathy is an accomplished dancer and instructor. She holds the United Country Western Dance Council “World’s 2003 Dance Choreographer” title and was inducted into the National Boppers Hall of Fame in 2003.
